join us

Owned and led by our members, and ambitious for better, we are always keen to collaborate with others.

There are different ways to get involved with BLKOUT whether you identify as a Black bi, gay, and/or trans man in the UK, or want to offer your solidarity.

This year, you could join our creative ambassadors, the BLKOUT Fellowship, or invest in our community by buying/earning shares. Why not use your skills and experience to guide us as a society board member?

Join the fun today, registration for the BLKOUT HUB is open to Black queer men in the UK, now.

community owneD - by us, for us

We have operated as a non profit organisation since our inception. In 2024 we will extend our commitment to being an organisation by us, and for us by becoming formally, community owned by reforming our governance and issuing community shares.

our 2024 ambitions

a place for us

We are working on creating a destination venue in a central London location. A place for us to meet, connect, create and care. Members have been sharing their ideas, and preparing bids for this exciting new development.

content that counts

The BLKOUTUK website blog has published over 300 articles written by and for Black queer men.

In 2024 we will publish the BLKOUT Review - new writing, podcasts and film, on the issues that matter to you

THERE’S AN APP FOR THAT!

The digital space designed by us for us. Space for us to think, shout, show off, curse, celebrate, laugh, reflect and share. Our own space to hear and be heard.

In 2024, we are aiming to increase the number of members, to recruit and train a group of community moderator volunteers, and create more opportunities for engagement.

Join us in January for a redesign hackathon.
